Guyane

In this article, I want to talk to you about Guyane, because during the last christmas holidays, I saw my cousin who lives there, in Cayenne. One day I hope I will go in this wild territory... as lot of people I would like always travel !

Guyane is the biggest french departement (a french overseas departement). It's near Bresil. 96% of territory is equator forest. This forest is protect by a natural park and 6 natural reserves.

The Cayenne penal colony stay famous and it was closed since the second world war.

This region is one of the richest region of animal and vegetal : around 5 500 vegetals species, 700 birds species, 177 mammals species, 430 fishs species...

There is a spacial center in Guyane. This center is the launching site of the Ariane rocket. It's in Kourou.
