In Brazil, it's the most famous national holiday. In the world, Rio is a real synonym with carnaval celebration. At the end of 19 century, some little groups wandered in the street in Rio de Janeiro. They dansed and played music... It's the begin of the carnaval.
Today, carnaval last 4 days in february. During this period lot of balls are organised in some traditional places. During this period, Samba schools parade. Parades take place on the night. And at the end of parade a filing is award. Schools are mark about : rythm, costumes, theme originality, float... For each aspect, judges give a mark (between 0 and 10). They determine a total mark and appoint the best Samba school of the parade.

The festivity in carnivals is very present and even more present in that of Rio de Janeiro with suits very impressive and musics they too very festive that I like to listen to from time to time notably
